Amberliegh children & young people take part in a wide range of activities events for many to enjoy
Under 5s Parent and Toddler Music & Drum Sessions
Parents/Carers with children under the age of five are welcome to attend our Saturday morning workshops.
The session concentrates on playing and learning drum patterns, rhythms and drum language, participating in nursery rhymes as well as learning the alphabet, numbers and colours. These sessions last for 30 minutes.
The infants and young children in this class continue to grow and develop until they are 5 years old or are able to understand the drum language in order to advance to the Drum and Dance classes, which are also delivered on Saturdays
These sessions are held at the Chestnuts Community Hall, The Chestnuts Estate
Highbury Grange, N5 2QE
11.30am - 12pm every Saturday.
African Drum and Dance Sessions 5 -16 yrs
We deliver these sought after sessions to children and young people, aiming to develop their coordination, confidence and ability to work as a team.
These practise sessions for children and young people aged 5-16 yrs includes learning drumming techniques, dance routines and motions, as well as giving them the freedom to express themselves and their own creativity.
These sessions are held at the Chestnuts Community Hall, The Chestnuts Estate,
Highbury Grange, N5 2QE
12pm - 4pm every Saturday.
